Up for sale in the Tampa showroom is one of cleanest Oldsmobiles on the face of the planet, the 1972 Oldsmobile 4-4-2. Introduced in 1964 model year as an option package sold on the F-85 and Cutlass models. It became a model in its own right from 1968 to 1971, then reverted to an option through the mid-1970s. In 1972 the muscle car scene was being hit hard with increasing fuel prices and insurance regulations and manufacturers were struggling to keep up with the changes. This particular 442 was one of those models, equipped with the optional L75 455CID V8 and backed by a TH400 this Olds will light up the tires in a hurry. This particular 442 has been meticulously maintained and is definitely a driver's car being equipped with power steering, a/c, AM/FM radio, and automatic transmission. The color combination of gorgeous Pinehurst green and white interior is sure to draw attention wherever it goes and adds to the class that the Cutlass brings to the party. The second generation 442 is arguably the best looking 442's made and this final year is a great example of what a non modified 442 should be and is heads and tails above the 3rd gen that was plagued with the smog motors and DOT 5mph bumpers. Located in our Tampa Showroom this 1972 Oldsmobile 442 can be seen including HD pictures and videos at For additional information please call
